Globalport 900 is a publicly listed holdings company with principal interests in investing, managing, operating, and developing port facilities and other activities supportive of port operations in the Philippines.

Our History

From the beginning, Globalport 900, Inc. has committed to finding new opportunities that work towards the betterment of the country.

Founded in 1933, Globalport 900, Inc. (PORT) began as an insurance company formerly known as Metropolitan Insurance Company (MIC) dedicated to providing quality services to the Filipino people. Decades later in 1999, the company transitioned from insurance to a holding company and changed the name to MIC Holdings Corporation.

Since then, the company has acquired its present name Globalport 900 Inc. and has evolved to owning, investing, managing, operating, maintaining, and developing port facilities, while also supporting port operations, shipping, and other maritime activities.

Creating the best operating model for ports and continuously finding ways to support maritime ventures is at the heart of what we do in Globalport 900, Inc.

Globalport 900, Inc. is fueled by our unrelenting commitment to providing customers and stakeholders quality services and shared success. We do this by developing port facilities and infrastructures that make transactions more accessible and efficient.
